Welcome to my blog! My name is Michael, and I’m a Full Stack Software Engineer with a passion for all things tech. I specialise in Cloud Native applications and have experience in both front-end (web/mobile apps) and back-end development. I’m also a strong believer in the power of Open Source and love contributing to community-driven projects.
One of my greatest passions is working with data (and big data). I enjoy using data to gain insights and drive decision-making. I’ve worked on a variety of data-related projects, including building data pipelines, designing data models, and performing data analysis.
When I’m not coding or working with data, I enjoy spending time with my family. Being a dad is one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, and I’m grateful for every moment I get to spend with my daughter. I’m also an avid coffee drinker and love trying out new blends from around the world.
In my free time, I like to spin vinyl and listen to music. There’s something special about seeing the vinyl spin (especially the coloured ones).
I also like to tinker with projects when I can so feel free to check out the projects page for some of the projects that I have worked on. Where possible these projects have been made open source for others to use/learn from.
